Explore the History and Heart of Our Town

Experience our historic places first hand through walking tours in downtown Greensboro and Revolution Mill. Downtown tours will alternate weekly; showcasing the architecture of Elm Street and blocks to the north including Governmental Plaza (Center City North), and the history of South Elm Street including the Southside neighborhood (Center City South). Revolution Mill tours will reoccur once monthly.

  • Center City South tour will be held the morning of Saturday, October 4 at 10am. Tours begin at the Green Bean, 341 South Elm Street this FREE event will be led by PGI docent Ryan Gray.
  • Revolution Mills tour will be held Saturday morning, October 11 at 10am. Tour begins at 1200 Revolution Mill Drive (meet under the red water tower!), light refreshments offered at 9:30! Led by Revolution Mill staff Emma Schropp.
  • Center City North tour will be held the morning of Saturday, October 11 at 10am. Tours begin at the Green Bean, 341 South Elm Street this FREE event will be led by PGI docent Ryan Gray.
  • Center City South tour will be held the morning of Saturday, October 18 at 10am. Tours begin at the Green Bean, 341 South Elm Street this FREE event will be led by PGI docent Ryan Gray.
  • Center City North tour will be held the morning of Saturday, October 25 at 10am. Tours begin at the Green Bean, 341 South Elm Street this FREE event will be led by PGI docent Ryan Gray.
Tours begin at 10:00am sharp, and will take a little over an hour depending on questions. Wear comfortable shoes! Get details here
