Tomorrow night (April 12th) is the Preview Party for the Preservation Greensboro's Tour of Historic Homes and Gardens in Old Irving Park. The party is being held at the modern home designed by Greensboro's own Edward Lowenstein -its an amazing home. The second Patrons Package event will be a Gala and Silent Auction in the historic McAlister Mansion, designed by Charles Barton Keen on the evening of Thursday, May 19 and the third event will be a Sunday brunch scheduled for May 22, 11:00am – 1:00pm in the home of Charles Hartmann, recently restored and refurbished.
Ticket prices for the package, including all three parties and admission to the general tour is $150 per person. If you didn't get into tomorrow night's event, the tickets to the remaining 2 events are $100 each... still including admission to the general tour in May.
5 more Vintage homes in the Irving Park neighborhood will open their doors to ticket holders during Preservation Greensboro Incorporated’s sixth annual Tour of Historic Homes & Gardens May 21-22. The tour highlights stunning features of early twentieth century architecture, including Irving Park’s oldest home, a Hartmann design, two Keen homes, and a Mid-Century Modern Loewenstein home. Participants will gain rare insights into great history and design!
