Hamilton Lakes contains some
of the best examples of Neoclassicism, Revivalism, and Modernism in our
city. Greensboro architect James Collins will explore the architecture
of the Hamilton Lakes neighborhood ahead of the May 16-17 Tour of Historic Homes
& Gardens, making connections between local architecture
and national, even international examples. He will focus on the development
of the neighborhood, and trace architectural influences that led to the
neighborhood as we know it today.
This event will meet in the
Chapel, and should last approximately one hour. We will have advanced tickets
for sale at this event.
