Explore antiques and home furnishing/accessories as a guest of the Antique and Design Center at Market Square! This special opportunity will provide a chance to explore two floors of Furniture Market, purchase items, and bid on one of a kind beautiful antiques and vintage finds at our Silent Auction to raise funds for historic sites. Built around 1900 as the Tomlinson Furniture Factory, the complex was refurbished around 1980 and renamed Market Square. It was one of the earliest industrial reuse projects in North Carolina, and one of the first projects to emphasize the handmade brick walls and heavy timber frame construction that remain popular. Today the structure houses home exhibitors of furnishings and accessories from around our region and the world during Furniture Market.
